Solstices and Seasons
A scientifically accurate series of presentations. The children see, first-hand, how the revolution of the Earth around the sun, and the tilt of the Earth's axis, are responsible for the changing lengths of our days and nights, our seasons, and the phenomena of solstices and equinoxes. The children also see how the Equator the two Tropics, and the Arctic and Antarctic Circles, are traced out by the sun's perpendicular rays at different times of the year.
