The Factory in the Stars, and Chemistry

The Factory in the Stars story (which includes charts as part of this pack) introduces Chemistry to elementary children. Following the story, the Periodic Table of the Elements is introduced. Covalent, Ionic, and Hydrogen Bonding (including the mechanism of "dissolving") is then examined. These presentations use inexpensive, simple, readily available materials that enable the children to personally explore the concepts presented.
